Specialist Orthodontist
After qualifying in India, Sujana spent 4 years working in UK Hospitals in various posts. she joined the team at The Orthodontic Practice in April 2005 from Liverpool Dental Hospital. She has been a part of the team for 17 years and has vast experience in treating children and adult Orthodontic cases and is proficient with the use of metal braces, ceramic braces, Damon system and Invisalign including Teen Invisalign. Sujana has excellent work ethics. She is well liked and popular amongst staff and patients.
In April 2022 Sujana has taken over the practice to continue the legacy of Dr Watkin and will continue to transform smiles across the region. Sujana is on the GDC Specialist list for Orthodontics and is a member of British Orthodontic Society and British Dental Association.
Consultant
Kapil is a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial and Head and Neck reconstructive Surgery at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. We are happy that he has joined our Specialist Orthodontic Practice offering general, surgical extractions including wisdom teeth and soft tissue procedures such as and not limited to frenectomies and apicectomies on a private basis.
He is qualified in both Medicine and Dentistry and currently leads the regional head and neck oncology services based at North Manchester general hospital.
Practice Administrator
Pat joined the practice as a typist in 1990 and became practice secretary soon after. She has studied for many qualification's including Pitmans Typing-First Class Pass, City & Guilds Introductory Spreadsheets, City & Guilds Introductory Word processing, City & Guilds Communications Level II, Life support and medical emergencies training and Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults certificate.
Pat is now looking forward to taking on the new role of practice administrator working for Dr Chava.
When not in work, Pat enjoys travelling, walking, cycling, photography, painting and spending time with her family and friends.
Dental Therapist/Hygienist
Binod qualified 27 years ago and went on to do his specialisation as a prosthodontist 24 years ago and currently he is pursuing his PhD as a research scholar. He has been working as a dental therapist and hygienist in the UK for the last 2 years. He has an abundant amount of experience in the field of dentistry.

Orthodontic Therapist
Katie has a wealth of dental knowledge and experience working in dental practices since 2011. She is a qualified Orthodontic Therapist gaining her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy at the University of central Lancashire in June 2023.
Katie enjoys creating beautiful smiles, getting to know our patients and supporting them throughout their orthodontic journey.
Senior Orthodontic Nurse
Ina joined the practice in 1978 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1999, after gaining certificates in Oral Health Education, Orthodontic Nursing and completing a Radiation Core of Knowledge Course. She has also gained the following qualifications City and Guilds Licentiateship, Safe Guarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Certificate, Equality and Diversity Certificate, Impression Taking Course Certificate and Medical Emergencies (Annually)
When not working, Ina enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dental Nurse
Lindsey qualified as a dental nurse in 2001 and has worked in general practice before qualifying as a orthodontic nurse in 2007.
She enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and her cockapoo, Sparkles.

Treatment Coordinator
Our new Treatment Coordinator, Sam, qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2009 and has gathered a wealth of experience within dentistry, working in different positions. She is looking forward to contributing to helping our patients achieve their dream smiles.
In Sam's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and squeezing in as many city breaks as possible.

Dental Nurse/ Receptionist
Lana commenced her employment at The Orthodontic Practice originally in 2003 and swiftly obtained her dental nursing qualification thereafter.
After a brief pause of two years because of the shift to a new provider during the NHS orthodontics contract tendering process, during which time she acquired her dental radiography qualification, she is delighted to be back with our practice as a dental nurse/receptionist.
Outside of work, Lana loves spending quality time with her family and friends, as well as exploring new destinations through travel.
